About the Village Runner...

The Village Runner is a specialty running store in the South Bay that has served thousands of runners and walkers over the past decade. Runners return time and time again to purchase new running shoes, apparel and accessories knowing that they will receive friendly, knowledgeable advice about their purchases and more importantly about how they can sustain a healthy lifestyle through running and walking. They also know that the Village Runner has the best selection of running shoes, apparel and accessories in Southern California .

For over a decade, the Village Runner has also been promoting and sponsoring running events throughout the South Bay and beyond. The Village Runner 4th of July Run has grown to host an amazing 3,000-plus participants a year. Portions of the proceeds from the 4th of July Run have gone to the Redondo Beach Firefighter's Community Relief Fund and the Redondo Beach Police Department's D.A.R.E. program. The Village Runner St. Patrick's Day 10K Run-5K Run/Walk and Little Leprechaun Dash for the Gold also plays host to over 2,700 participants a year. Proceeds from the St. Patrick's Day Run go to the Torrance Police Officers' Association, the Torrance Firefighter's Association and the Torrance Parks and Recreation Department's after school programs.

The Village Runner has proudly served runners, walkers and numerous charities throughout the South Bay for over 10 years and we look forward to serving our community for many years to come.
